Man of War Bay is owned by the Welds family who own 12,000 acres (50 km2) in Dorset in the name of the Lulworth Estate It is open for the public to enjoy.

Taking a trip to the beach. Get there by train or car. The nearest railway station is Wool (London Waterloo to Weymouth line by South Western Rail). You can take the bus (numbers 15, 30 and X55) which take your to and from Wool Railway Station and West Lulworth for Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door beaches.
