Visit Widewater Beach
Widewater Lagoon Beach at the west end of Shoreham beach, on the West Sussex Coast.
The pebbly beach is backed by a beautiful landlocked lagoon. A haven for birds the lagoon is home to herons, ducks and swans and abundant plant life.
Beach huts line the sea front, and you can walk along the coastal path all the way along the promenade to Worthing.
This beach is safe for swimming, and each year between May and the end of September there is a designated swimming zone, marked with buoys.
Park on the beach front, where there is a kiosk selling drinks and snacks.
This beach is dog friendly all year round.
