Visit Shoreham Beach
Shoreham Beach is a shingle spit about three miles long in West Sussex. Ever-popular with visitors looking for swimming and water sports.
This beach is safe for swimming, from May to the end of September there is a designated swimming zone, marked with buoys.
The area is recognised as an international rare habitat for vegetation (LNR) (SNCI).
The harbour is to the east of the beach. Shoreham-by-Sea is a historic but thriving port with plenty of opportunities for fishing, sailing, diving and other water based activities.
Did you Know? There are the remains of a Napoleonic Fort are at the Eastern End.
This beach is home to the Shoreham Airshow held each year in August.
