St Annes on Sea

Visit St Annes on Sea Beach

If you’re looking for a delightful seaside getaway on the Lancashire coast, St Anne’s Beach in St Anne’s on the Sea is the perfect spot! Known for its beautiful golden sands, this beach is a great place for the whole family.

St Anne’s Beach has long stretches of golden sand, which are revealed during low tide. This beach really is perfect for building sandcastles. There’s also a kids’ paddling pool nearby, perfect for little ones to splash around and cool off on sunny days!

St Anne’s Victorian Pier is a charming landmark that adds a touch of nostalgia to your seaside visit! Opened in 1885, this beautiful pier features lovely Victorian architecture and has been a favorite spot for families for generations. You’ll find amusement arcades filled with fun games and classic seaside entertainment that kids and adults alike will enjoy.

Take a stroll along the lovely promenade lined with gardens and charming features. It’s perfect for a leisurely walk while enjoying the fresh sea breeze.

With plenty of cafes and ice cream stands around, you can easily grab a treat while enjoying the stunning views of the beach. Whether you’re taking a leisurely stroll on the pier or enjoying the lively atmosphere of the arcades.

The colourful St Anne’s Beach Huts are a fantastic way to enjoy a day by the sea with family and friends! These charming huts come equipped with all the essentials, including a small kitchen and seating, making them the perfect spot for a picnic or just relaxing out of the sun.

For those looking for some adventure, the beach also offers exciting watersports like paddleboarding and kayaking, allowing you to explore the beautiful coastline from a different perspective.

The tides can come in quickly, so it’s a good idea to check the tide times before you head out for a swim or a walk along the shore.

St Anne’s Beach is partially dog-friendly, but there are some restrictions to keep in mind. From Good Friday until September 30 each year, dogs are not allowed on the main bathing beach, which is the area located between the lifeboat station and the northern end of the North Promenade car park.

However, outside of this designated zone, dogs can freely roam along the expansive stretches of beach towards Squires Gate and Lytham Quays.
