Hest Bank Beach

Visit Hest Bank Beach

Hest Bank is a wide sandy beach just north of Morecambe on the Lancashire coast. The beach is backed by a grassy area with wooden benches dotted along the seafront.

The sands at Morecambe Bay during low tide can be dangerous, guided cross bay walks are recommended. The Cross Bay Challenge starts here, a race across Morecambe Bay raising money for charity.

Hest Bank Beach is a fantastic spot for bird enthusiasts. The area is known for its diverse birdlife, especially during migration seasons, making it a prime location for observing various species in their natural habitat.

Hest Bank Beach is dog-friendly all year round! There are no restrictions for dogs.
