Visit Fleetwood Beach
Fleetwood beach is in the coastal town of Fleetwood is on the northwestern corner of the Flyde coast in Lancashire. The beach extends around the area from Larkholme Grasslands, but the main seafront area is by Marine Hall, near the mouth of the River Wyr. Also referred to as Marine Beach.
The area by Marine Beach is family friendly with plenty of atttractions and seafront shops. The Marine Gardens Outdoor Playground and leisure centre with a splash pool keep the kids entertained all day.
The impressive 1930’s Art Deco Domed seafront theatre, Marine Hall, overlooks the searfont and hosts a wide range of theatre and performing arts events.
A little further along, you come to the boating lake, where you can watch the model boats in action.
Keep walking along the coast, take in the stunning views towards Morcambe Bay and the Lake District.
The Fleetwood Golf Club is a little further along the coast. If you are walking the coastal path, you walk right by the edge of the course.
As you reach this part you will see an unusual building, Rossall Point Watch Tower. This is definitely worth a visit. Not only are the views spectacular, there is lots of interesting local information and informative guides.
The Fleetwood Ferry
At the mouth of the River Wyre is the Fleetwood Ferry Port. This dog friendly ferry takes you acros the river to Knotts End.
There are dog restrictions on Marine Beach from May to September each year.

Poulton-le-Fylde Station
It is about a half an hour drive from Blackpool to Fleetwood. You can also take the Tram which links Blackpool to Fleetwood.
