Visit Carnforth Beach
Carnforth beach on the Lancashire coast is a wide unspoilt stretch with a selection of holiday rentals near the sea front. This is an ideal location to enjoy the coast as well as the surrounding national parks and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
While it is not a bucket and spade beach, it is a great spot for nature lovers and walkers. The beach front is at the mouth of the River Keer, and there are coastal paths along the salt marshes and sandbanks.

Carnforth Railway Station
Carnforth is famous for its association with the classic film “Brief Encounter.” This romantic 1940’s movie, featured famous scenes at the Carnforth Railway Station’s platform. Visitors can visit the restored Carnforth Railway Station Heritage Centre, wonderfully recreating the ambiance of the era. There are displays, shops and A great place to visit on Valentines Day.
