Visit Rhyl Central Beach

Popular Rhyl Central Beach is a popular seaside resort on the North Wales coast. It is a large sandy beach with safe bathing in the sea and lots to seee and do. There are plenty of family friendly activities at this beach. Discover the underwater world at Rhyl SeaQuarium, the Pavillion Theatre or take the kids to the beachfront Rhyl Childrens Village for seaside rides and funfair. There is even a Vue Cinema if it is raining!

The beach is popular in the summertime and can get busy with families sunbathing on the beach and paddling about in the sea. During the holiday season lifeguards are on duty.

The RNLI Rhyl Lifeboat Station and Life Lifeguard station also back this section of the beach.

In addition to a seafront Premier Inn and Travelodge, there are smaller hotels and B&B’s nearby.

Keep walking passed the Eisteddfod Standing Stones and you will get to Rhyl East beach.

This beach is dog friendly in the winter restricted in this area from May to September during the busy season. Look out for the signs with maps showing where dogs are allowed.
