Visit Barkby Beach
Barkby Beach on the North Wales coast is one of Prestatyn’s beaches which extends eastwards to the Gronant dunes. Visitors can enjoy the seafront promenade to stroll along, or water sports and sailing facilities available locally.
This is not a swimming beach but great for fun on the sand. The Prestatyn Sailing Club is located at this beach and there is a boat launching slipway.
Golfers can play the championship 18 hole course at Prestatyn Golf club overlooking the beach.
Barkby Beach is dog friendly with some restrictions by the sailing club.
