Kessingland Beach

Visit Kessingland Beach

Kessingland Beach just south of Lowestoft, is a large unspoilt rural beach which is a combination of marshland, shingle and sand along with windswept dunes. The beach here is sand and shingle, backed by grassy cliffs.

This stretch of beach is ideal for nature lovers, perfect for birdwatching, fishing or simply enjoying the natural surroundings.

Kessingland has a choice of coastal family friendly holiday parks. At the southern end of the beach is White House Beach Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite and a Parkdean Resort. As you head north along the beach it becomes more rural. Then at the north end you will find a Pontins.

This beach is also one of Suffolk’s popular kitesurfing spots.

Dogs are allowed on leads, but restricted between 1st May to 30 September.
