Visit Holland-On-Sea Beach

The beach at Holland-on-Sea is situated about four miles north of Clacton-on-Sea in Essex. A good alternative for beachgoers looking to escape the crowds. Backed by a seawall and promenade, it is an unspoilt relaxed seaside destination.

Generally uieter than its neighbours, the beach runs from the seaside town towards Holland Haven with a picnic area, nature walks and country park.

Take a stroll along the promenade, between the beach and Kings Parade and past the colourful beach huts (which are available to hire). Stop in at the beach front cafes for a cup of tea or lunch, or take advantage of the watersports on offer.

At the end of the beach is a sailing club. The Gunfleet Boating Club, caters for small boat fisherman, jet skis and kayaking.

Keep walking along the beach to the area known as Holland Haven. Here you will find the Holland Haven Country Park set in a designated SSSI. Take the nature trails or cycle path and explore the area.
