Visit Back Beach – East Cliff
Back Beach, also known as East Cliff, stretches along from Lyme Regis towards Charmouth West Beach. This beautiful part of the Dorset is part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site and the beach is backed by cliffs known as the Spittles.
The rock formations are of great geological interest but visitors must be aware that the cliffs are unstable and are prone to landslides.
Walk the dog all year round at this beach. Be sure to always check the tide times if you are visiting this beach, it is easy to get cut off.
