Towan Beach – Newquay

Visit Towan Beach

Newquay beaches and great surf attract thousands of holiday makers every year. Towan Beach is is a picture perfect golden sandy beach, close to the town centre. The beach is ideal for swimming and there are lifeguards on duty in the holidays.

One of the areas most iconic landmarks, the suspension bridge connecting Towan Island to the mainland and breathtaking views of the Atlantic coastline.

Visit the Blue Reef Aquarium on Towan Beach, and get up close to the sea creatures.

The beach is in the centre of Newquay and gets very busy during the August holidays.

Situated on a cliff top, overlooking Towan Beach is St Christophers Inn, a hostel with a sunny terrace, bar, restaurant, and surf school.

Close to Newquay’s main shops, bars and restaurants, great for experiencing the local nightlife, the Hotel Sunnyside welcomes group bookings, birthday celebrations, and hen and stag parties.

There is parking close to the beach next to Belushis Sports Bar on Fore Street.
