Visit Porth Joke
Porth Joke a charming unspoilt sandy cove, referred to locally as ‘Polly Joke’, is a narrow sandy beach wedged in between the two craggy headlands of Pentire Point West and Kelsey Head. A short walk from West Pentire and Crantock Village this beach is generally less busy than its neighbours.
Visitors can walk along the South West Coast Path from Hollywell Beach, which provides breathtaking views of the Atlantic Coast.
There are no lifeguards or facilities at this beach and nearest parking is about a ten minute walk.
The Treago Farm Caravan & Camping Site is close by, an ideal base for exploring the area.
