Visit Fistral Beach
Wide open West facing Fistral Beach, is one of Newquays’ most famous beaches and one the most highly rated surfing locations in the UK. The water quality is excellent and families flock to this beach each year and it can get very busy during summer holidays.
There are RNLI lifeguards on duty full time between from April 2 until October 31.
Fistral is made up of three areas – South Fistral, North Fistral and Little Fistral which is a small bay to the North only reached at low tide. The beach is backed by the South West Coast Path and the Newquay Golf Club’s scenic 18 hole course.
Surfing at Fistral
One of Cornwall’s most famous surfing destinations the beach hosts many top international surfing events. Surf lessons are available here for all ages and experience.
