Swanbridge Beach

Visit Swanbridge Beach

Swanbridge Beach is opposite Sully Island in the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales.

The beach has rocky outcrops and sand that becomes exposed at low tide, and provides stunning views of the surrounding coastline.

While this isn’t a beach for sandcastles, you can walk to Sully Island from Swanbridge Beach, but it is important to do so during low tide when a causeway is exposed. A traffic light system is in place to indicate when it is safe to cross to Sully Island. This system provides safety instructions and timings to help visitors plan their trip effectively.

Visitors can enjoy coastal walks, birdwatching, and exploring the natural rock formations. Walk up Beach road around the Caravan park, and you will find the path which leads to Sully beach.

There is parking on the seafront, by the Captains Wife Pub, and a caravan park next door.
