Coney Beach (also known as Sandy Bay) is a popular family friendly beach in Porthcawl.

The beach backed by a fairground and entertainment complex. It is a firm family favourite. Lots of activities for the kids, including donkey rides and bouncy castles and there are plenty of places to shop, eat and drink.

The lovely golden sandy beach, has deck chairs available, and lifeguards on patrol in the holidays.

This beach is dog friendly in the winter months with restrictions from May to September.

There is loads of parking space all the way down Eastern Promenade, towards Porthcawl Harbour, right on the beach front.
