Emsworth Harbour Beach, close to Chichester Harbour, is a great day out, with walks along the promenade, or simply watch the boats come and go.

Emsworth Harbour has a history of boat building and oyster fishing, today it is more famous for sailing, and home to the Emsworth Sailing Club and Slipper Sailing Club.

Emsworth was once famous for producing oysters. Millions were sold in London and around the country in the best hotels and restaurants. You can find out more about the history of Emsworth oysters at the museum and even walk the fascinating Oyster trail.
