Visit Emsworth Harbour Beach
Emsworth Harbour Beach, close to Chichester Harbour, on the Hampshire coast is a great day out, with walks along the promenade, or simply watch the boats come and go.
Emsworth Harbour has a history of boat building and oyster fishing, today it is more well known for sailing. The Emsworth Sailing Club and Slipper Sailing Club operate on the beach front.
Emsworth was once famous for producing oysters. Millions were sold in London and around the country in the best hotels and restaurants. You can find out more about the history of Emsworth oysters at the museum and even walk the fascinating Oyster trail.

Emsworth Harbour Beach Dogs Policy
Dogs are welcome all year round with no seasonal restrictions.
Leads are advised near the harbour wall and wildlife areas to protect birds and seals. Off-lead exercise is fine on open shingle, provided recall is solid.
Calm, scenic, and ideal for dogs who enjoy sniffing more than sprinting. No reported fines, but manners still matter.
