Hove Beach

Visit Hove Beach

Hove Beach is the slightly more subdued neighbour, just a quarter of a mile west of Brighton beach on the East Sussex coast. The beach is shingle with sand exposed at low tide. Running alongside the beach are Hove Lawns perfect for for picnics and spending a relaxing afternoon.

Have a meal at The View Seafront restaurant, and there are plenty of facilities within walking distance, enjoyed by visitors and locals alike.

To the Eastern side of the beach is Lagoon Watersports where you can learn to sail, windsurf, SUP (Stand up Paddleboard), wakeboarding and more.

This beach is dog friendly with restrictions in some areas.
