Cuckmere Haven Beach on the East Sussex coast is a remote and quiet pebble and shingle beach, set to the dramatic rugged background and the Seven Sisters cliffs.

This a a great place to enjoy long bracing walks and observe the huge variety of wildlife and is great for birdwatchers and nature lovers. It is possible to cross the river by wading through the shallow water.

Did you Know? This beach was commonly used by smugglers in the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries.
