Visit Ballycastle Beach
Ballycastle Beach on the Causeway Coast Route in Antrim is a popular seaside destination and award winning beach. The seaside resort includes a sandy beach and is known for its marina, the facilities make it a popular place for families.
This sand and shingle beach is ideal for families with safe paddling and swimming. There are RNLI lifeguards (seasonal) on duty and shops nearby.
The Ballycastle Marina is at the eastern end of the beach, and Pier from where you can take boat trips. There is a promenade backing this section of the beach. explore the area and walk along the beach to Pans Rock.
Golfers can enjoy a round at the Ballycastle Golf Course, which backs the beach.
Ballycastle is near to local attractions including the Glens of Antrim, Rathlin and the Giant’s Causeway.
This beach is dog friendly with restrictions from 1st June – 15th September.
There is easy access to the beach with parking close by, as well as wheelchair access, disabled parking and disabled toilets.
