Visit Felixstowe South Beach
Popular Felixstowe South Beach is a traditional seaside resort on the Suffolk coast. Enjoy the beach south of Felixstowe Pier, take a stroll along the wide promenade, which runs level with the beach, explore the area and enjoy refreshments at one of the seafront cafe bars and restaurants.
The mainly shingle beach, which is sandy at low tide, with plenty of space and traditional beach huts for hire.
The beach is dog friendly with restrictions in the holiday season from May through September each year.

Felixstowe South Beach Dogs Policy
Dogs are permitted on this Beach, though there are seasonal rules in place.
Dogs are banned from 1 May to 30 September on the main sections. Dogs are allowed year-round towards Landguard, with short leads required in the nature reserve and Martello Park.
