Felixstowe North Beach

Visit Felixstowe North Beach

Felixstowe North Beach is a lovely sandy beach on the Suffolk coast, generally quieter than neighbouring South Beach, with beach huts and chalets available to rent. It runs from the pier, for about 4-miles towards the golf club along Cliff road. The beach is backed by the beautifully restored seafront gardens, places to eat and children’s amusement arcade.

Seaside activities include scuba diving, windsurfing and water skiing in specially designated areas. There are no lifeguards are on duty, but it is safe for swimming. There is easy access to restaurants, cafes and toilets.

Barbecues are allowed on beach at ‘The Dip’, which you will find in front of Clifflands car park.

Just a little way further north along the beach golfers can play a round with stunning coastal views at the award winning Felixstowe Ferry Golf Club.

The beach is dog friendly with restrictions in the holiday season from May through September each year.
