Motorbikes, Music and Family Fun on Devon’s English Riviera
During the May Bank Holiday weekend (3rd – 5th May 2013), the Bikers Make a Difference (BMAD) Festival will transform Paignton Green on Devon’s English Riviera into an exciting destination of high-octane thrills, music and fun.
BMAD will appeal to all ages whether they have an interest in motorbikes or not, although bike lovers will be in for a serious treat! Since its creation in 2002, the family-oriented BMAD festival has grown into a major event attracting locals, visitors and bikers from all across the UK.
The festival features live music, stunts, a beer tent, more stalls than you can shake a Harley Davidson at and the stars of the show: the motorbikes.
The event begins on the Friday evening 3rd May at 6pm, runs all day Saturday and Sunday 4th/5th May and wraps up with a firework display on Sunday evening, closing to the sound of roaring engines.
A full line up of bands includes The Simmertones on Friday evening, whilst Dutch rock band SQY headlines Saturday and the Blues Brothers Collective headline Sunday. Other popular returning acts include The Dark Side of Pink Floyd and female trio Sound of the Sirens.
