Pembrokeshire Fish Week 2016

Pembrokeshire Fish Week 2016

Fish Week Swims back into action!

After a 12 month absence, 2016 sees the Pembrokeshire Fish Week Festival back to celebrate its 17th year!

Established in 1999 the festival has since grown into a 9 day, countywide celebration, with over 250 events and activities taking place for all ages and tastes.

From fishy menus to outdoor adventures, art and craft to seashore foraging, the festival is a celebration of the county’s superb fish, shellfish and local produce, as well as the spectacular coastline, great angling and maritime heritage.

The 2014 festival saw a direct economic impact of just over £2.7 million with approximately 32,000 locals and visitors coming together to enjoy the events.

Now with the possibility of fresh backing and supported by the Welsh Government’s Major Events Unit, this year sees the start of Pembrokeshire Fish Week’s new structure as a social enterprise, supported by Pembrokeshire County Council and The Port of Milford Haven.

‘Milford Fish Festival’ will return as the Pembrokeshire Fish Week Festival’s opening event, with over 250 plus events, countywide throughout the rest of the week.

This year’s Pembrokeshire Fish Week Festival will run from Saturday, 25th June to Sunday, 3rd July. For further information visit the website:
