Porthtowan Beach has glorious sandy beaches and breathtaking cliff walks. The area has been a popular seaside resort for over a hundred years, and is now a well known surfing spot, hosting competitions throughout the year.

The beach and surrounding area is within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with the coast path

Did you Know? You can find the remains of Wheal Towan, an 18th century copper mine, owned by Ralph Allen “guinea a minute” Daniell of Trelissick.

There are plenty of nearby facilities, shops and bars, to keep everyone entertained.
