Charming Maenporth Beach a couple of miles southwest of Falmouth is a sheltered cove with a cafe overlooking the beach.

The beach is East facing with clear views across Falmouth Bay towards Pendennis Castle and the lighthouse on St Anthony Head.

The South West Coast path runs directly along this beach which can be reached easily from Falmouth bay. The sea is safe for bathing and has facilities for launching boats, scuba diving and sea kayaking.
