Kynance Cove

Visit Kynance Cove

Kynance Cove, just north of Lizards Point, is a famously picturesque holiday destination. Being so popular it can get very busy here in the summer. Famous for its beauty, it is also the location of Nampara Cove in Poldark.

There is a lovely sandy beach which disappears when the tide is high (always check the tide times) with serpentine rock outcrops and caves to explore. Swimming is possible when the tide is right. There are facilities and National Trust parking nearby.

Did you Know? You will find Devils Bellows, a cave which turns into an impressive blowhole.

Kynance Cove is also part of the West Lizard Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and is in the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
