Visit Dumpton Gap
Dumpton Gap on the South East Coast, is one of Broadstairs’ charming bays and a great spot on a summer day for a family day out. It is a small sandy bay backed by a promenade with beach chalets available to rent. When the tide goes out, a sandy beach is exposed and it is possible to walk all the way along the shore South to Ramsgate or the opposite way along to Louisa Bay.
Make sure you always check the tide times. The tide come in quickly and it is easy to get cut off. Alternatively a stroll along the cliff top promenade for stunning views.
The beach is family friendly with a small cafe/kiosk for refreshments on the seafront and toilets (open in the Summer) nearby. The beach is easly accessed with free parking on the clifftop with a short walk to the seafront.
