Family friendly Shanklin Beach is at the southern end of Sandown Bay on the Isle of Wight. This beach has soft yellow sand and is the best beach for families with young children. Enjoy a classic day on the beach, with safe bathing and is great for paddling about.

Grab some fish and chips or an ice cream and stroll along the esplanade.

There is lots to keep everyone entertained along Shanklin seafront. Arcades, Crazy golf, cafes, hotels and bars. There are themed crazy golf venues, fun for all ages.

Take the Shanklin Cliff Lift down to the beach from Eastcliff promenade.

Enjoy the beach, or get into the water for a swim, hire a kayak or paddleboard.
