Black Rock Sands

Visit Black Rock Sands

Located on the outskirts of Porthmadog, the beach at Blackrock Sands (also known as Morfa Bychan) stretches for miles and is a haven for beach fun and sunbathing.

The sandy beach is a perfect spot for a day out with a picnic and bucket and spade. It is safe to bathe and paddle in the sea and is popular with families.

The Morfa Bychan, North Wales Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve, backs the eastern side of the beach.

To the western end you will find the caves.
