Visit Holland-On-Sea
Holland-On-Sea is a long stretch of sandy beach, backed by a seawall and promenade, just north of Clacton Pier. Quieter than its neighbours the beach extends about 1 km from the shores of the seaside town towards Holland Haven with a picnic area, nature walks and country park.
Take a stroll along the promenade past the colourful beach huts (which are available to hire). Stop in at the beach front cafes for a cup of tea or lunch, or take adavantage of the watersports on offer. The Gunfleet Boating Club, caters for small boat fisherman, jet skis and kayaking.
Keep walking along the beach to the area known as Holland Haven. Here you will find the Holland Haven Country Park set in a designated SSSI. Take the nature trails or cycle path and explore the area.
